Portraits at Rilion Gracie Jiu-Jitsu – Eldridge, Houston

We recently had the opportunity to photograph the kids at Rilion Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Energy Corridor, located on Eldridge, and it was an inspiring session from start to finish. We worked with students of different ages, skill levels, and belt ranks, capturing the pride and confidence that comes from showing up, training hard, and progressing on the mats.
What stood out to us immediately was the focus and composure these kids brought to the camera. Every belt tells a story of effort, discipline, and growth, and that story showed clearly in their portraits, clean gis, confident posture, and well-earned smiles. These images aren’t just photos; they’re milestones families will look back on with pride.
A big part of that environment comes from Drew and Stephanie, who do an amazing job creating a space where kids feel supported, challenged, and encouraged. Their leadership and dedication to the students truly showed throughout the session and translated naturally in front of the camera.
